Purpose of the Role

The Business Manager works in the Strategic Accounts division of CertaPro Painters Ltd. overseeing the financial and quality assurance responsibilities of Strategic Accounts.  Focused on transactional efficiencies and collaboration between the Strategic Account team, the network, and client partners to identify and improve daily function, partnership, and overall satisfaction with the client experience and revenue growth of Strategic Accounts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in and oversee the cash collection process by coordinating with the Strategic Account Manager and CertaPro Ltd. Accounting department.
  • Maintain accountability around upcoming expirations and renewals of contract files, franchise proposals, franchise COI, project sign offs, and pay portal guides for all clients and in multiple systems as necessary.
  • Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and reports; ensure adequate resources are available to complete activities.
  • Establish transparent, timely, and effective communication with network and clients.
  • Professionally handle conflict resolution.

Performance Measures

  • Maintains receivable and payable ledgers within division’s established norms.
  • Establishes and (or) improves upon transaction management processes within the division.
  • Models activity and behavior in line with company Standards as defined in its Standard Operating Procedures manual.
  • Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.

Organizational Alignment

  • Reports to the Director of Strategic Accounts
  • Works closely with Strategic Account Managers, Accounting, and Legal to carry out approved cash collection process on customer-by-customer basis.
  • Coordinates with Strategic Account Leadership, Executive Leadership, Legal, and Accounting on all contracts.
  • Regularly communicates with franchise network and clients on accounts receivable and payable.

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution required, advanced degree in business, accounting, project management preferred.
  • Project Management experience
  • General Knowledge of the accounting, procurement payment systems, collections, and electronic payment systems.
  • Embraces automation and technological integration for efficiency.
  • Has a thorough understanding of commonly used procurement systems used in the construction and trade services industry.
  • High level of initiative, dependability, and self-motivation.
  • Effectively able to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Able to analyze, diffuse, and solve problem situations.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative, accountability, and leadership
  • Ability to organize and schedule assignments to meet known priorities and critical work deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the commercial painting services industry.
  • Preferable to have “network” experience either within franchising or membership groups

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

  • This position requires minimum travel.
  • Must take a Caliper Profile pre-employment assessment test
  • Must pass a background check and credit check.
  • Corporate office based (Audubon, PA)
